Yesterday was an amazing day with most of my crew! Being a mom to Kate, Gavin, and Matt is one of the greatest joys of my life! I love doing life with them. I love celebrating their successes, being here to walk beside them through hard moments, having fun times with them, and watching them grow into who God made them to be.

Every season brings new joys, new challenges, and new opportunities to trust God more deeply.

One of the beautiful things about being a mom is seeing how each kid is unique with their own gifts, skills, interests, personalities, and temperaments. Meeting each kid for who they are and helping them to unfold into the person God made them to be is both beautiful and humbling.

I pray every day to be the mom God needs me to be for each of my kids.

As much as I thought I am meant to be here for them, what has been unexpected, yet appreciated, is how God uses our kids to help refine and grow us too.

May we give thanks to God for the gift of being moms to our kids. May God give us wisdom for the challenging moments, gratitude for the beautiful moments, and grace for ourselves and our kids along the way. And may our kids always know how loved they are by us and by God, in every season.
